Dr. Jorge Velis

Dr. Jorge Velis graduated as a Dentist in 1995. After successfully completing all National Dental Board examinations, he was accepted into the prestigious two-year General Dentistry residency program for Foreign-Trained Dentists at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. He completed the program and obtained his Florida Dental License in 1998.

Dr. Velis is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care and takes pride in helping patients restore both their oral health and confidence.

Born and raised in Lima, Peru
Favorite Food: Ceviche — of course!
Favorite Place to Visit: Tulum, Mexico. He loves disconnecting from technology and daily distractions to enjoy a peaceful and grounding experience.
Favorite Hobby: Walking along the beach ,helps him feel relaxed and grounded.

Most Memorable Dental Experience:

One of Dr. Velis’ most rewarding cases involved a patient who suffered a severe accident that fractured her front teeth. Although no one knew what her smile looked like before the accident, he was able to restore it using veneers and crowns. The patient was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, never expecting to regain her smile. Seeing her happiness and renewed confidence reaffirmed why he chose dentistry as his profession.
